It would seem someone could design a vest of some sort to keep the back elbow and hand in place untill the contact point. This would seem like a good tool to use on the heavy bag. Any thoughts?

With this in mind, we are thinking of developing a vest similar to the "<a href="http://www.onlinesports.com/pages/I,MW-GGPHV.html">Gordie Gillespie's Power Hitting Vest</a>." It would designed to secure the back-arm in the slot position rather than the lead-arm as shown. I would appreciate your thoughts and input.

You could take a tight fabric elbow brace like you would find in a pharmacy and have it be one size small. Put this on the lead elbow so it has very little flex. Get a velcro belt to go around the abdomen and have a ring on it (like a giant dog collar around the abdomen). Then you can take a 3 or 4 inch velcro arm band which goes just above the rear elbow(like a blood pressure cuff) with a ring on it that attaches to the ring around the abdomen ring. Can connect the 2 rings with one of those mountain climbing clips.
