When you are triggering and your stride foot is in it motion should the hands and arms stay still until the foot lands or could it move.

Assuming right hand hitter.
Allow the front shoulder to turn inward rotating back toward the catcher. This should bring the hands slightly back and in. Some say the front shoulder should also go slightly down so that at lauch position you will swing slightly up on the ball to match the plane of the pitch. If you are using THT the left hand moves back slightly and the right hand will pull the bat head back toward the catcher as you initiate the forward swing.
