Q for Jack: Adapting to a moving ball

Posted by: JBO (jbosinc@yahoo.com) on Wed Mar 18 10:12:45 2009

Hey Jack, Love your site. I've been practicing your mechanics for a little while with great results. I used to have trouble hitting the ball over the infield. But now off a tee I can hit one-hoppers to the fence with regularity. I hope to hit it over the fence soon :).

I have a problem when I try to hit a moving ball, though. Whenever somebody pitches the ball to me(I play slow-pitch, by the way.) I want to extend my arms in order to reach the ball, therefore ruining the CHP. Are their any good tips/drills to keep my arms in a CHP?
