Actually I would think it was more of the way Pete Rose batted .. Would he be considered to have good mechanics?

> Certainly Pete has good mechanics.I wouldn't think of them as power mechanics.He was very quick to the ball(circular hand path as in second clip is as short to the ball as possible).He tried to stay on the plane as much as possible-some wrist roll/extension at contact on first clip.Good momentum transfer through body to bat as evidenced by back toe drag on second clip and slight toe drag followed by "backward hip twist"(second wave of equal and opposite twist comes down from torso as hands extend away from body turning hip back and causing back heel to fall back) by contact in second clip.
