There is a high shool left handed batter I coach that dominates right handed pitchers, but struggles against good left handed pitchers. In general, a lot of left handed pitchers have tail on their pitch that goes in on left handed batters. Do you think good advice for this left handed batter would be to back off the plate a touch? Do you have any suggestions or drills to help a left handed batter improve on his success versus a left handed pitcher?

Thanks!
