torque/heavy bag

Jack or anyone else,
Last night I was looking at the different topics on the discussion board of erlier times. One of the topics included top hand torque. I think I finally understand top hand torque, but I do have one question. At what point in the swing does the top hand stop pulling toward the cathcer? Also, I have a punching bag at my house, so could someone please explain the heavy bag drill to me? Any help is greatly appreciated.
