Jack,Seen your page today for the 1st time. Played baseball and softball for 25 years since I was 6.Real interested in the way you explain things. Question can an 8 year old be helped by your video or is that too young to understand the swing. Don't want him thinking too much,just reacting. What do you think.

By all means start at a young age. There is very little to think about. I have taught 8 yr olds. They all improved! Do the bag drills. Stress lower body mechanics and CHP then work your way to THT. You need patience and you need to make it fun. Once they have properly ingrained the mechanics you will be amazed how at 8 they can hit live fast pitching. They will pull the ball with power. Spend more time on the bag drills than live hitting. Take video and teach them well.
