How come I hammmer the ball in BP but in a game I can't hit? Sometimes in a game I kinda freeze when he pitches, I don't get my feet and legs in a good hitting position, therfore no hips, all arms, my arms extend too early, plus I miss the ball entirely?

Is it because I'm not focused or because I haven't practiced this swing enuff to have it automatic to me? > > > > What can I do to rid this problem? > > <<There are a number of reasons.1st in bp you usually know what's coming and you can prepare your timing.This is why I say it is important to figure out what's coming in a game.You may also be gettig nervous in a game yet relaxed in practice,this could affect everything from mechanics to eye focus.Remember 90% of hitting is from the neck up.The mind controls the body.Ask yourself am I relaxed in a game am I focused do I have the right amount of adrealine to rise to the occasion ,do I even like to be up in tough situation or do I hope the guy in front of me drives in the run so its not up to me.Do you know the situation when you go to the plate and what your job is and how you well acomplish it.There is plenty of bp hitters and few clutch hitters.
