Hi Ernie,

The only thing I can say is practice, practice and try to keep the players from extending their arms forward or shifting their weight forward too early or too much - wait on the ball and rotate instead. Extending the arms forward to hit the pitch early is bad. They may need to wait on the ball to get closer.

Video analysis is great because then they can see exactly what you are talking about. Once they see it, then they can help coach themselves.
