The mechanics Jack teaches on this website (and I just found this website two days ago), are the same mechanics I have been teaching my young students for three years now. I have found this mechanical theory is the most logical hitting process around. Being that I played professional ball for 6 years, I've definitely heard about hitting "palm up/palm down". Perhaps you can be more specific about your problem..?? I'm sure there is a drill I can tell you about to fix your problems.
