your load or cocking motion should start somewhere around the pitchers highest point of his leg kick as he seperates his hand from his glove. and your step forward should be taken, not landed, when the pitcher brings the ball to the release point (basically still in his hand). It really doesnt matter the exact time just as long as it occurs at the same point consistantly
