P.S. I should have mentioned that in this swing, the wrists never break or roll or anything. The bat ends up behind my right hip (I'm a lefty), with the palm of my bottom hand still facing down the same way it was at the beginning of the swing, and the bat-head facing straight out the side.

I don't believe batspeed is highest when the handpath is shortened, obviously it is quicker, but I believe the swing is most powerful the farther the bathead is from the center of rotation at maximum rotation speed, "i'm sure you've read that from the best of max at setpro" Extension is difficult to achieve, such as the extension Big Mac was able to obtain.
