Hi Bob,

Here's a thought experiment for all of us.

You are standing on a train track and the train is moving 4 MPH towards you. Surely, this train has more Kinetic Energy in it than any past or present Major League hitter in the batter's box at any given time. The question is, if you threw a 95 mph baseball at the front of the train, would the ball travel 400 feet over your head? The answer is NO. So, there must be a point of diminishing returns on the effectiveness of bat weight.
