Lining up the door-knocking knuckles won't change anything. Only one or two MLB players use door-knocking knuckles. Place the bat at the top of both hands (not in the fingers). Close the hands. The grip should have the big knuckles of the top hand lined up with the knocking knuckles of the bottom hand.
