step ups

Fellas,
question for you..what drills and or methodology do you do that are effective in teaching hitters to deal with step ups in speed; I.e the first time u see 60 as a 9 year old you are toast, the first time you see a changeup that actually moves, etc... etc...but mainly its the velocity..its what our team is dealing with now since we have been forced to play up due to our record and we are overpowered through basically 2/3 of our lineup. ideas?
