HI M HALL> I SAW A HITTING INSTRUCTOR TEACHING HIS STUDENT THE VERY WAY YOUR TALKING ABOUT.IT CAUGHT MY INTEREST .JUST START FROM THE LAUNCH POSITION AND ROTATE THE BODY AND BAT HEAD ON LINE WITH THE INCOMING BALL.WHEN I WENT HOME AND TRIED STARTING THE SWING FROM THE LAUNCH POSITION ON THE BAT SPEED MONITOR I DIDNT LOSE ANTY BAT SPEED AT ALL.

IF THAT MEANS ANY THING? i MUST CONFESS i DONT SEE ANY MAJOT LEAGUE HITTER STARTING FRON THE LAUNCH POSITION .BUT EVEN IF YOU DONT WANT TO HIT IN GAME SITUATIONS LIKE THIS . I THINK USING THAT LAUNCH POSITION AND SWINGING INTO A HEAVY BAG IS A GOOD WAY TO LEARN TO TAKE A CIRCULAR HAND PATH.
