MY 9 YR OLD SON'S SCHOOL EXPERIMENT.
WOOD BAT vs METAL BAT = BALL DISTANCE.
HYPOTHESIS:
IN A CONTROLLED ENVIRONMENT
(ie: STANDARDIZED BATTING MACHINE...,
ALL THINGS BEING RELATIVE)
A BALL WILL TRAVEL FARTHER/SHORTER
DEPENDANT UPON PHYSICAL PROPERTIES OF
THE BAT (IE:WOOD or METAL)
I WOULD TEND TO BELIEVE LITTLE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN
THE TWO BATS WHEN BATS HAVE (VIRTUALLY) THE
SAME WEIGHT AND DIMENSIONS.

(SHOULD I CHANGE HIS EXPERIMENT TO
VINEGAR AND BAKING SODA?)
