to LOAD or not to LOAD?

Posted by: joe () on Thu Jun 5 15:50:54 2003

Correct me if im wrong but ive read that hitting starts with loading. By loading i mean turning your knee, hip and frontside backwards around 2-3 inches. Then you stride foward. And then you launch your hips open.

But ive been practicing and i feel that it might be not that comfortable. What im doing now is just a normal stance and then AS I stride, i move the hands back.

Im wondering if what im doing is wrong but i feel that is more comfortable that loading and then strding again. the load part just feels like something useless....
