Re: Outside Ptches

I am just about to buy the video and am 90% sold on the mechanics. However, how do you deal with outside pitches using rotational mechanics methodology?

You may not understand this, but a pure rotational swing does not plan to pull the ball or go the other way. A rotational swing is not about waiting......it's about hitting the ball deep into the body, this is the goal for inside pitches and outside pitches. We want to feel that we're always hitting balls off the back shoulder, not the front shoulder (even on inside pitches we want that feeling).

If your pulling outside pitches your perception of where impact should be in relation to the body is probably wrong. Hit balls off the back shoulder or back knee.

Hope this helps.

Respectfully,

Coach C
