To hell with sportsmanship and the only respect I give for the other team is their ability to beat your ass,I teach it to be war you live and die on the field and I guarantee you Pedro Martinez and roger Clemens throw right at peoples head sometimes if for nothing more than instilling fear in the hitters.This is the game ,I would not change my view if it hit him in the eye or the throat and knew that the father had taught him that.This is why,I hit a pitcher with the ball 3 times in my entire career and every time I walked to bat I thought ok pitch you throw your best stuff because I am going to hit it right back at you so hard you won't be able to move your glove in front of your face before I take your head off.It is this aggressive behavior that brings the intensity and adrenalin to a hitter just to compete at a skill he will be lucky to fail atleast 70% of the time.You make it sound like I tell a hitter ,ha go up there kid and instead of pulling it in the hole just hit it as hard as you can right at the pitcher and you will probably get a base hit since he is so close and maybe we can knock their best pitcher out of the game at the same time,in fact I will just send my next 4 hitters up to do that and then they well not have anymore pitchers and they will forfeit.How F*****ing realistic is that,I do not blurt these things out and it is just a positive hitting thought for a hitter in his head to stay back like he should and hit the ball up the middle with all he has.I have M.L. friends that when I have told them that have said Damn Rob your a mean son-of - bitch,but I like it and I think I'll try it.
R.P.you teach all the sportmanship you want and I'll teach mine how to knock the crap out of the ball and don't forget to teach your pitchers to duck!!
