Thoughts for Jack

Dear Jack,

You have done a fine job at revamping the Swing Mechanics page. However, I disagree with the links you refer individuals to attain more insight that relate to that specific portion of the swing. If I had my druthers, I would refer people to the Truism or Fallacy page, and would orient them in the direction of two articles: "Get Your Arms Extended," and "Roll Your Wrists at Contact." Furthermore, I would add a third reference from the Batspeed Research archives: "Does Bat Speed=Pop?"

Two final suggestions: change the logo of batspeed site so it depicts John Elliot in the beginning of his swing, and use the side view John Elliot's contact point--depicted in the beginning and throughout Final Arc II DVD--for "Get Your Arms Extended," rather than Ken Griffey Jr.

Your thoughts? A response would be deeply appreciated.

Sincerely,
BHL
