Does anyone have tips on how to get an 11 year to not drop hands before swinging. He knows he is doing this and is consciousely trying to correct. It would be great to have a few drills specific to correct.

My personal opinion is that when a newcomer asks a question, someone who is QUALIFIED should give a good faith opinion. Eventually the newcomer might revisit the site , buy Jack's DVD, learn, etc. But to tell a newcomer her question is invalid is the same as telling her to go away. I don't think all questions have to pertain to top hand torque for them to be valid questions.

If someone would ask if is advisable to hold the bat with 12 inces betwwen the hands (such as TY Cobb, herad of him?), I think that would be OK to answer, "sight unseen" without asking that person to "send a clip". And besides, where is this newcomer supposed to send the clip? FYI jack does not allow posting of clips.

perhaps before someone hits the "post it" button, they could just take a moment to ask themselves a simple question: will my response cause the questioner to have a positive feeling about batspeed.com or a negative feeling?.....we all want people to feel positive about batspeed.com, right?
