A seemingly simple question, but one I believe merits considerable deliberation before answering. Regardless of whether the hands, elbows, or whatever initiates the movement of the bat - IS THE BAT TORQUED?

The question has never been "does this bat head movement occur". The question has always been cause and effect. What is causing the movement? Just because the hands are what is on the bat doesn't mean this movement is caused by the hands.
