Why doesn't this guy hit more. He has a swing like Ted Williams (follow through). Then again everyone cannot play for a losing organization.

Talent is not a thing unto itself. Talent is a a collection of specific skills, depending on the activity.

Saying talent is like saying nothing. Some painters have talent, some singers have talent, some football players have talent. I don't think a talented painter will automaticly be a good hitter. Becasue the talent for each activity is made up of differnt skills.

The skills that make up the talent of hitting are relexes, speed and vision. Vision is the most important. You can't hit what you can't see.
