Hi Ray

Forgetting for a moment what we see in video clips, can you touch your extended top-hand thumb to your shoulder as I described in the drill? This is just a matter of curiosity to me. Other than John Elliott (early in his development), every student I have ever worked on the drill could easily to do so. Most could even bring the top-hand itself to the shoulder in their launch position (3 ½ inches closer than with the thumb extended).

Therefore, I was just curious if you could not bring your top-hand close to the shoulder or if you felt getting it close was somehow a flaw?
