> You seem to associate rotational mechanics with “long” and “slow.” What is your definition of a long swing? Does “shorter” mean to you that the hands are ‘less’ extended at contact – or more extended? Do you feel Barry Bonds must not use rotational mechanics because he is quick to the ball? – Mark, it would be helpful to hear your thoughts on these questions.

i want to develop a quick to the ball rotational swing JUST LIKE barry bonds vs a more long "set up "somewhat like a sheffield.in other words a quicker snappier swing vs a longer swing that causes you to have to decide sooner. This extra "time" may help you recognize different pitches.I think sheffs swing makes him have to decide sooner than a swing like barry's,,,am i off base here? Thanks again Jack.Quick and short to the ball vs long and loopy, using rotational mechanics are there ways to cut down on load launch and recognition time?
