If we were talking about both guys starting at 80mph then of course they would cover the same ground in the same time.

But, what it takes for one guy to go from 0-80 can be and often is different from the next. Very clear. Very simple.

Does a Toyota go from 0-60 in the same time as a Corvette?

Does the guy with the best 40 time also have the best time in the 100?

I was real quick for 20 yards. But I couldn't post a quality 40 time. You'll have to ask someone else why. I just know when we lined up in football, I could beat 'em all for about 20 yards. Then everyone flew by me.

One guy can get his bat moving 80mph quicker than the next. And, the guy who take too long to get there better do something else before the bat is sawed off in his hands.

BTW, I'm sure you've heard of Dave Kingman. He waved a quite a few as he was going from 0-80.
