circular hand path

Posted by: jerry (220 hitter) on Wed Jun 3 14:02:08 2009

could the difference between circular hand path vs linear hand path which seems to be descibed as hands directly to the ball be that with linear mechanics as the batter is pushing his hands into the pitch he would be exposing the bat,s handle early and for a longer period of time which results in weak balls off the bats handle. With CHP its the bat head or sweet spot that gets turning right away the hands and handle dont move as much with chp the bat heads gets into the contact area much quicker creating not only bat head speeed but also bat head quickness
