how much velocity is lost when hitting a ball off a tee

Posted by: cory () on Mon Aug 10 10:46:36 2009

I have pretty decent rotational hitting mechanics... I haven't had the time until now to really work on improving my batspeed though. I know I am capable of a batspeed over 100 maybe 110. Right now the balls are coming off the tee at 80 with a wood bat. Does anyone know what that would equate to as raw bat speed? I was thinking its probably like 90 but I really have no idea.
