Driving forward with the top-hand reduces the effect of THT and disconnects the larger muscles of legs and torso from powering the swing. -- Old muscle memories die hard.

Hi Jack

I will assume now that you are saying that the lower body adds POWER to the swing as it rotates the shoulders and arms around to hit the ball. So POWER comes from the large muscles as they rotate the shoulders and arms around to the lag position and then the release of the wrists (wrist snap) brings the bat to the hitting zone.
