Could bat length make a difference?

Posted by: Chaz (ejkesner@yahoo.com) on Fri Sep 7 10:09:04 2007

Just a quick question for the gurus. I'm in my early 30's, 6'2"/195 lbs. and play in a men's adult league. During my adult years I thought it was obvious to use a 34/31 bat. The other day, I decided to use an old 32.5/29.5 bat for bp and felt that I was hitting everything right on the "sweet spot".

My questions are...1. Is it just in my head or could a smaller bat make that much of a difference. 2) For a 6'2"/195 lb. - does a 32 or 33 inch bat seem ridiculous.

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
