Lead Shoulder pull vs. Lead Shoulder rotation

I watch your clips through "youtube" a lot and there are 2 different things from lead shoulder. One video with Griffey Jr vs. Bonds says "pull out the lead shoulder" and another video title has "Lead Shoulder rotation of 4 Great hitters" and I understand the concept but when I put into practice I get confused between pull vs. rotate. Which one is it? which one gives right mechanic for the swing?
