Todays Major league hitters strike out too much. So it is not surprise that we see so many hitters in the playoffs fail to hit their weight. One has to wonder, what good are their batting coaches?
For it is one thing not to get a hit, but too many of these hitters are not hitting the ball hard and can't hit a good fastball. Perhaps they should look fastball and start their swings earlier? It is embarassing to watch the Yankees and Cubs choke.
