dropping hands

Jack,

I have a kid who after hiding his hands and before starting shoulder rotation, drops his hands straight down a little taking him out of the power V before shoulder rotation thus messing up his bat angle as he tries to hit the ball. Any suggestions to help him? Thanks. Mike
