best way to hit

In my opinion, the best way to hit is to not even think about your lower body. I think you should just take your stride and do what you have to do to get into a good load position, and from there you just have to throw your hands as quick as you can and try to almost whip them. Just try to get as much quickness in them as you can. And for the lower body, i will just follow, you dont have to force it at all. Any comments??
