Thanks for any help. I am already doing the multi weighed,light, game and heavy, bats, three sets 0f 15. i lift moderate weight a lot of reps. would running/jogging help out any,other then just cardiovascular? PLease help me to be my best.

It depends on your swing mechanics as to what exercises would benefit you the most. If you use a weight-shift/arm extension method then you obviously need strong arms since they carry much of the hitting load. If, however, you use more hip/trunk rotation as described on this site, then you must have good core strength -- legs, hips, abdomen.

As far as throwing goes, if you are a rotational swinger you will find that the exercises you use for core strength will also help your throwing; particularly if you are a pitcher. You didn't indicate your age but most highschoolers and younger are usually lacking in core strength. Also, be careful to avoid over-developed chest muscles. They may look good but can be detrimental to pitching as shoulder flexibility will be limited. Strong muscles on the backside of the shoulder are important in keeping the stronger frontside muscles from putting too much "pull" on the upper arm and shoulder.
