Re: Re: Shortening the swing

I've been told to shorten my swing so I can get around on a D-1 Fastball. How can I do this and what does it mean? I have a lot of power but often do not make contact. I have to put the ball in play more to increase my playing time.

At 3and2.com and webball.com there is info on how to develop a short, compact swing. Also the pros and college coaches use the fence drill.
