rotational mechanics applied to fastpitch softball

Posted by: Scott Richards (jscott1954@hotmail.com) on Sun Dec 21 11:06:17 2003

I am looking for discussions and information on the application of the rotational mechanics to girls fastpitch softball. I am a private instructor in the Dallas, Texas area. As an instructor, I beleive it is important to always be open to different ideas and approaches. I have based my instruction off the teachings of Ralph Weekly, 1996 USA Olympics Hiting Coach and Mike Candrea, U. Of Arizona's Head Coach. Some one asked me a questions about "rotational mechanics" so I am doing some rearch. I have several softball instructor friends which I have discussed this with at lenght but I'm the type to do as much research as possible for myself too. My job is not to declare victory by being right but instead, I'm suppose to help each player become the best they can be by teaching the best information and mechancins I can. Thanks for your response and any information you may share.

With Appreication,

Scott Richards
