It is right with rotational you can hit the ball harder then with any other mechanic, but the point is where i hit the ball. In the sweet spot and square is the key to be a good hitter, and this seems to be easier with linear mechanics, because the bat stays longer in the zone and longer on plane with flieght path of the ball. And it depends of the typ of player for a power hitter is rotational essential, for AVG linear might be better. <<<

Do you think that if Ted Williams had used linear mechanics he might have raised his AVE to 450 or higher?
